Document Purpose

This document explains exactly how to set up Barkat Cattle Farm's Google Business Profile. A verified profile helps customers find the business on Google Search and Maps and lets Barkat control how its information appears there.

1. What Must Be Achieved

2. Final Recommendation — Hybrid Business

Recommended Setup: Hybrid Business

A hybrid business serves customers at its business address AND also delivers to them. This matches Barkat's model — if customers can genuinely visit the farm and the farm has permanent on-site signage with the name matching the profile exactly.

Exact Barkat Rule

If the signboard is not installed yet, do not complete the setup as hybrid. Either wait until signage is installed, or set up as a service-area business first if the business does not serve customers at the address.

3. Exact Setup Order

1Prepare the Google account
2Confirm the exact public business name
3Confirm permanent signage is ready
4Create the profile
5Choose the correct business type
6Enter the address and service areas correctly
7Choose the correct primary category
8Add phone, hours, and description
9Start verification using Google's offered method
10Upload first trust photos after verification
11Review all profile information carefully

4–5. Google Account & Business Name

Google Account

Use one Google account the owner controls directly — not a helper's personal account, not a temporary account. That keeps ownership clean.

Barkat Cattle Farm

This is the exact business name to use on the profile.

Do NOT write: "Barkat Cattle Farm Official", "Barkat Cattle Farm Multan", "Barkat Cattle Farm Best Qurbani Animals". The signboard must use the same name exactly.

6. Profile Creation Steps

  1. Sign in to the Google account that will own the profile
  2. Open the add-business flow (search "add my business to Google")
  3. Click the option to add the business
  4. Enter the business name: Barkat Cattle Farm
  5. Continue through setup screens

Duplicate Check

Before creating, search Google Search or Google Maps for "Barkat Cattle Farm Multan" to make sure a profile does not already exist. If one exists, claim it — do not create a duplicate.

8. Exact Address & Service Area Rule

Address

If Barkat truly receives customers at the farm, enter the real farm address, real map pin position, and real visitable location.

Not: fake address, home address, vague landmark-only address.

Service Areas (Initial — 4 Cities)

  • Multan
  • Lahore
  • Islamabad
  • Rawalpindi

This matches phase-1 sales strategy. Do not use all-Pakistan service areas in GBP.

10. Exact Profile Fields

11–12. Verification

Critical Rule

Do not assume Barkat can choose any verification method it wants. Google determines the verification method automatically. Use whichever method Google offers.

Best

Video Recording (if offered)

Google recommends video for eligible businesses. Barkat has a real location, physical farm, and planned signage — making video a strong fit if available. The video must be unedited, at least 30 seconds long, recorded from a mobile device, and must not include sensitive information.

Alt

Phone/SMS, Email, Live Video Call, Postcard

If Google offers another method, use it exactly as instructed. Do not try to force another method.

13–14. Video Verification Plan (If Offered)

Step 1

Outside location proof — show road approach, street sign or surrounding marker, enough outside context to prove the location is real.

Step 2

Signage proof — show the permanent signboard with "Barkat Cattle Farm" clearly and steadily, with the exact same name as the Google Business Profile.

Step 3

Business existence proof — show the farm area, animals, and the real business setup.

Step 4

Proof of management — show something only the owner or manager can access: opening a gate, entering a restricted area, using business-only equipment, or showing controlled access to the farm area.

Do NOT show: IDs, bank information, tax numbers, unrelated people's faces, or sensitive private information.

17. First Photo Upload Pack

Upload these after verification is complete:

Photo specs: JPG or PNG, 10KB–5MB, recommended resolution 720×720, minimum 250×250. Photos should be in focus, well lit, and representative of reality without significant alteration.

Do not upload: blurry images, cluttered images, heavily filtered images, screenshots, poor lighting, or unrealistic edited visuals.

20–21. Local Ranking & Reviews

Google says local results are mainly based on relevance, distance, and prominence. There is no way to request or pay for a better local ranking.

The correct early approach: complete information, accurate category, accurate address, realistic service areas, real photos, and real reviews later.

Do not create fake reviews. Ever.
